How to Get Your SIA Security Guard Licence

   These are free online counter-terrorism modules you need to complete before starting your training.

2. Pass the Security Guard Training Course
   Take part in a 4-day SIA-accredited course. You’ll learn the skills and knowledge to pass your exam and qualify for your licence.

3. Apply Online via the SIA Website
   Once you’ve passed, head to the official SIA site to submit your application, upload your ID, and pay the licence fee.

4. Receive Your Licence
   After your application is approved, your 3-year SIA Security Guard Licence will arrive in the post — and you’ll be ready to start work.
