We have moved!
It is official, we have now moved into our new offices!
We are now based in Leyton. Our office is in the Great Hall, formerly known as Leyton Town Hall. The building is located minutes away from the London 2012 Olympic Village. It’s also a heritage building of baroque style and close to lots of local amenities.
We have lots to do and we will be spending the next few weeks making our office space look amazing. Our inspiration is the Google offices….but on a much smaller budget! (We can dream).
Interior design aside, we always believed that when we launched Cultural Capital we would need to be based in Waltham Forest. We both grew up in the area and have lived here all of our lives. We have both watched the area – including my own Walthamstow Village – change hugely over time.
Gentrification can have its benefits, but often, those who cannot keep up become marginalised. This is our worry and one we hope to address by working with those local young people who might need extra support. Young people like the ones we used to be, those who just need the right guidance and financial support as they transition into the world of work – so it’s great that we are only a stones throw away to provide it.
Of course our doors are always open to you.
We would be happy to meet with you to discuss our work and any possible partnerships opportunities.
